Plan B (2005)
Just what is Plan B? Was there a Plan A? That was the intriguing question on everyone's minds as they consumed our third studio album. In Plan B, there was more of Bangalore for the world to see. The songs toasted the Bangalorean's ravenous appetite and deplored the metro-mania of an overzealous and corrupt government that uprooted trees, stacked flyovers and dug up streets in the name of development. Plan B also thumbed its nose at supercilious "music journalists" and the stuffed shirts in the recording industry, which promoted everything but good music. First released online via a custom user license modelled on Creative Commons (and later on CD), Plan B was lapped up by torrent-raiders and selfless pirates who seeded it and leeched it and spread it further and wider than our collective imaginations could fathom. The glut of downloading slashdotted our website but it came up for air again. The download counter (before we gave up looking) read well over a million.
